Vivian smiled and threw her arms around a young handsome boy. "Zac!" She giggled and kissed him happily. "Hey sweet heat." He chuckled and nuzzled her. What she didn't know was he was here to break up with her and in a short few hours she would be on the run.

Raven walked through the eerie black hallways. Then she stopped in front of her mother's chamber door. She was about to knock when she heard her mother say, "Mirror, mirror, on the wall. How's the fairest of them all?" Then she heard another voice. A voice she didn't recognize. "Vivian White is the fairest of them all." Then Raven heard her mother shriek in anger. Raven jumped and hit the door accidentally. The shrieking stopped and the door opened. "Oh. Raven, come in," her mother said flatly.

The two sat down happily, she in his lap and his arms around her. "What is it that you have to tell me?" She asked smiling. He sighed quietly. "I'm breaking up with you Viv." He said softly. She yanked herself out of his arms and narrowed her eyes. "It was her wasn't it?" She aske softly and he didn't meet her eyes.

Raven sat on her mother's bed. Her mother paced the room with an annoyed look on her face. Her mother stopped and looked at her. "Raven, dear. As you know, I can not rule over this country forever. When it's time for me to step down, an heir will be chosen. I have heard from... Very reliable sources that you will probably not get chosen in a popularity contest." Before Raven could respond, her mother continued, "Since Vivian is the next in line, that also takes away your chance of being Queen. But..." A pistol landed on Raven's skirt. Her mother smiled wickedly, "You'll just have to eliminate the... Compition."

She calmed herself down but became icy. "Please just leave." She sighed and walked inside and towards her chambers.

Raven stared at the gun. "You want me to kill Vivian?" Her mother smiled and nodded. "Stand up, girl." She said. Raven stood up quickly. Her mother irritatedly pointed to the gun. Raven hesitated, but put the gun in her belt. Her mother handed her the rapier that she owned. "In case your at a close range." Raven attached the sheathed sword to her belt. "Here's your cloak. Go now," her mother said, handing Raven her cloak and shooing her out of the room. Raven put on the cloak then spotted Vivian. She paused briefly, then said, "Vivian!"

Vivian turned and smiled sadly when she saw her sister. "Hey Rave! What's up?" She asked walking over to her.

Raven wanted to tell Vivian everything. Instead, she smiled and said, "Do you want to go for a walk through the forest?"

Vivian brightened up. "Sure. I've got nothing to do." She sighed. "Zac just broke up with me." She confided in her sister sadly. She actually liked her sister.

Raven frowned. Vivian and Zac broke up? They were inseparable before. Raven looked at her sister. "His loss. Your better then he ever was." Suddenly Raven felt a sharp pang of guilt. Vivian trusted her when she couldn't be trusted. Then she plastered a smile on her face. "Lets go then."

Vivian took the lead with her weapons on her belt and chuckled. "Right? And it was for that blonde hair girl Sarah." She huffed and rolled her eyes with a grin. "What about you? Who do you have your eyes on?"

"No one. I rarely leave castle grounds. So I never really thought about it." Raven smiled. She looked around. They had made it to the forest and were walking deeper into it. Sooner or later Raven would have to do something. She decided later.

"You should come out more. It's so pretty out here." She sighed an trailed er hands across trees and plants they passed.

Once they were a good ways away from the castle, Raven's hand shakily rose towards the gun. She had to do this. Last time she disobeyed her mother... Lets just say that she was closer to death then she wanted to be. She held up the gun and pointed it at Vivian, her hands shaking.

Vivian turned around an her eyes went wide at the sight of the gun. The words died on her lips. "Raven..?" She asked quietly and looked at her sister with fear in her dark eyes.
