Shawn looked at her funny. He quietly crawled into the hole they made, digging out as much as he could. The dirt piled up in a little mound, blocking El's path. He didn't notice, though, and continued to dig. "You allergic to dirt, Scarlet?" He teased.
Alteria sat on the floor, watching him leave. She bit her lip. The heat from his skin was all over her body, making her hotter than before. She quietly slipped off her shirt, pressing up against the rocks in the cave. -
El stopped at the dirt in front of him an sighed, obviously he was being told to stay and finish what he had started. Sitting opposite of Alteria, he spoke to her. "I...Im sorry...I just..."

Scarlet rubbed her nose sneezing again. "That and BS." She mused watching his tail dissapear into the growing tunnel. She was clearly pleased with the progress and helps pull out the dirt.

Alteria shot a small smile at him. Purrs started up. Her mind was a bit fuzzy, like most people after an amazingly drawn out kiss. But she could still think. "It's okay. I would have done it too, if I were in your shoes," she stated. It was true. She would have kissed him exactly like that. "I just.. Didn't know that was how you felt."
Shawn stopped, laying down in the hole. It was just barely big enough for him to fit in. He kept his tail tucked into his pants, in case it thunked against the wall and caused the whole thing to collapse. The thought slightly bothered him. "I see. BS makes you sneeze?" -
He nodded slowly and slumped back against the growing wall of dirt behind him. "Yeah...it is...but there's a problem..."

She chuckled. "It's just a statement. It really dosnet, it just annoys me." She sighed and stood up and peered into the hole. "Want me to take my turn?" She asked pushing her loose locks of hair behind her ears.

Alteria looked at him quizzically. "Let me guess, you're dating someone else? I've heard that a lot from other boys.." Her tail brushed against his leg. She set her shirt aside. "But never the less, what's the problem?"
Shawn let out an "Ohhh", stopping and looking up. Finally, he shook his head. "I can continue. Just, don't stop talking, or I'll get scared. Okay?" He smiled, even though she wouldn't be able to see it. -
She nodded an leaned against the dirt wall, stuffing her hand into her pockets. "Hm. Well what do you want to talk about?" She asked with a tilt of her head.

Sighing, he pulled he to him and wrapped his arms around her waist. "No, it's not that...I...kinda...love Scarlet as well..."

Shawn shrugged. He realized his mistake at the simple movement, because some of the dirt fell into his face. He hissed in annoyance. It took him a minute to regain his cool. "Yourself, I guess," he called to her.
Alteria snuggled into his hold. She let out a laugh; Her laugh was a little tinkle, like the chime of a bell. "A two-timer, huh? Feisty." -
Laughing,he blushed and kissed her cheek. "Hm...no, just...lucky I guess."

Scarlet shrugged. "Well, my parents are dead. Um.. My little sister is back home waiting for me." She close her eyes. "My favorite color is a shinning blue." She chuckled softly.

Alteria giggled, turning her head and kissing him. After a few seconds, she pulled away. "Lucky? Lucky seems like an odd word choice." She nuzzles his cheek, resting her head on his shoulder.
Shawn took a minute of silent digging to process her little story. "How old is your sister? And what's she like?"
