I took one look at the boy I bumped into and knew that he wasn't one of us. My instincts took over and I jumped to the side as a sword's blade appeared where I was standing. I unsheathed my sword and parried as he struck again.

(Bump)
-
Jace walked away from the fighting and the horror. Instead he went looking for his sister. Calling out her name loudly and lonley.
-
With a quick stab, I finally killed the guy. I was panting. Blood trickled down my arm. I looked around and noticed a girl standing behind a tree, watching me. "Hi," I said, kindly. Where did this girl come from, and why was she here?
-
"This is really unfair." Axela muttered as she tried to stand. Her arms to weak to lift herself up, she just dropped back down. Alexa quickly grabbed a sword and rolled out of the way as the boy shot some light in her direction. She came up behind him, and was about to lop his head off when the boy turned around, his sword magically in his hand again and parried the blow. Alexa ducked under a blow aimed at her face and sliced at his legs. He danced back, a maniacal grin on his face. As they fought, Alexa began to recognise the technique, as if she had duelled this boy before. While she was distracted the boy twisted her blade, forcing her to drop it, and his bangs moved out of his eyes. They were green, eyes she would remember anywhere.
"Dusk?" She whispered. -
(what have I missed?)
-
Jace his under a tree, panting. His sword hung at his side and his hair clung to his face as sweat slid down his body. Dawn was coming soon. He looked at the approaching purple clouds as the sky started to light up.
-
As the sun started to come up, the strangers who invaded disappeared one by one. I looked around in confusion as they vanished, much like the stars did in the sky. I looked at the girl. She didn't answer. "Do you have a family around here?" I asked her.
-
The boy hesitated, his sword pressed against her throat.
"W-what?" He asked, confused.
"It's me, Alexa, remember? Alexa? Alexa McIrish?" She pleadingly asked him, which only seemed to confuse him more. Behind him, Axela stirred and he glanced back, pressing the point of the sword harder against Alexa's throat, causing a few drops of blood to roll down her neck. The boy looked around us, and saw the other attackers beginning to vanish. He looked worried and glanced back at Alexa.
"Dusk... Remember. It's me. It's Alexa." She whispered. The boy hesitantly lowered the sword and opened his mouth to say something.
"I-" he began, but disappeared before he could continue. -
Jace looked at the burning sun as a blessing. It took away the creatures who caused nothing but damage. He slowly slid down the bark of the tree his eyes distant. A small voice whisperd from behind the tree "Jacey?" A whimper. Jace looked up. "Sis?" HE asked softly. A small child hurled into his arms crying. He rocked her slowly whispering to her to calm and everything will be okay. But he knew it wouldnt be.
-
I leaned against the tree and watched as the little girl practically jumped on Jace. I smiled. Then I realized that I didn't have a family. I never had a mom or dad or any siblings. I frowned.
-
Alexa walked over to Axela, placed a hand on her arm and merged back into one person. "What happened?" She asked herself, looking around at the burning buildings and people running around screaming and crying. She shuddered, exhausted, and sat down on the grass, closing her eyes, just sitting there like a statue.
-
I made the mistake of moving a bit and my arm brushed on the tree. I winced and gritted my teeth. The sword wound on my arm wasn't getting any better. But for now I wanted to go ask the Elders what had happened and their opinion. I held my hand over my arm and dark pink wool curled around it, covering the wound. The wool turned dark red. I sighed, it would have to do. I started to walk towards the Elder's mansion.
-
Don't just sit here! Go visit the Elders! Alexa thought to herself. Why? That's what everyone else is doing. It's not exactly easy doing what we just did. another part of her argued. Just go. said the part that wanted her to visit the Elders. Sighing, she tood up, strechted and began trudging over to the Elder's house.
