Derik noticed Michelle but pretended he didn't. When she was distracted with her nails he swam under her. And when she was done he poked her shoulder and dived to hide.

(Are we on land? All of a sudden we're in the water. I want to make sure before we post or you may get the wrong image in your mind.)

(I'm gonna assume we're on land. If I'm wrong I can reword it later.)
I felt a small tap or something on my shoulder. I let out a small yelp. I turned around and heard a rustling. I smiled and stood up. "Hmm." I said. I walked along the waters edges. The waves started touching my ankles and I felt a pulling motion. I sighed and smiled. Then a bigger wave came and nearly tripped me. An even bigger wave came and crashed into my legs, pulling me into the water. I instantly grabbed my neckline and my necklace wasn't there. -
( i thought the rocks were in water, but if not ok)
Derik was about to poke her again when he saw she was lying down. He controlled the waves into a low tide. "Hey are you ok?" *pokes shoulder* -

I coughed and spit out some water. "Ya," I managed to say. I looked around. "My necklace," I gasped," It's gone!" I leaned to one sde in a panic and frantically looked around.

I looked around and spotted the diamond necklace strung around the purple flowers. I got up and delicately unwrapped it from the field. I strapped it around my neck and secured it tightly. I felt my neckline and the lump in my stomach vanished. I turn towards Derik, a smile on my face.

I hear someone close by, I wonder who it may be. I turn around and see a rifle aimed for my head.

"Ok, I'll come," I said to Shara. I haven't met many fairies on my journey.

When I turned around I had a smile on my face, but Derik certainly didn't. My jaw dropped open.

"Derik!" I shouted. My hand fell from my neckline and I started shivering.

I knees went weak and I fell. I sat down on my feet shaking.
