He chuckled, "If we can find her..I think she's hiding again".
She sat on the floor next to his bed, leaning over she kissed his forehead softly.
"Your not protecting her, your starving her from any experience in life. And your putting her through more pain than she should". -
Gwen smirked. "Audrey~ Were gonna go get sweet buns without you~"
He woke up slowly and smiled at her. He pulled her onto his bed and winced lightly. He hugged her tightly.
"I am protecting her!" He growled and punched a hole into the headboard."I am not starving her! You know what, I'll have a ball for her. Maybe she'll find someone better than that rat." He spatted the word rat out hatefully. -
Audrey quickly appeared from behind her mother, "No mummy, don't leave me!".
She purred happily and hugged him back tightly, she closed her eyes as a few tears rolled down her cheeks, "My James~".
She grabbed his fist and held it tightly, hoping to calm him a little, "He's not a rat, James is a fine young man...I think your just scared of watching her grow up". -
She giggled and picked Audrey up. "I wouldn't leave you dear." She nuzzled her cheek and looked at Cass. She leaned and whispered in his ear. "Let's let those two enjoy their time alone." She giggled lightly.
He lifted his hand up and wiped away her tears. "stop crying...I'm alright Kitten. I'll be alright. "he smiled and nuzzled her neck.
His hand was bleeding. His eyes had glazed over a bit. "She's already grown up what is there to stop! I'm trying to protect her, that's it!" -
Cass chuckled and kissed his wife's cheek, "Yes, we wouldn't want to bother them".
Audrey giggled and cuddled her mother, "Buuut you said you would!".
She purred more, the tears though wouldn't stop, she shook her head and sighed, holding onto him tightly, "I don't want my dad to take me away from you again".
She leaned over and took out a bandage from the cabinet near the bed, she gently wrapped it around his hand, "You don't want to see her fall in love, get married, have kids, get her heart broken, you don't want to see her leave". -
She laughed and started walking. "I only did it so you would come out of hiding. But I wasn't joking about the sweet buns."
He chuckled and kept wiping them away, nipping at her neck gently. "He will not take you away from me. I won't allow him to "
Ben didn't say anything. -
"Yay~", Audrey cheered, her mother's love of sweet buns had been passed down to her.
She smiled a bit and nuzzled his cheek, "I'm not leaving my James~".
Jane smiled a little and scooted over, pulling him into a gentle hug, "Oh Ben". -
Gwen chuckled. "Maybe when I had you inside me, I shouldn't have ate so many sweet buns." She then picked up Audrey. "Lets see if we can beat daddy!" She burst off quickly.
He purred and cuddled her happily. "you better not." He chuckled lightly.
Ben twitched lightly and hugged her back. -
Cass was already quite ahead of the two, though he didn't know it was a race until he say them speeding towards him, that's when he reacted and ran.
She cuddled him back tightly, placing a soft kiss on his nose, "I promise~".
"Its okay, Ben", she continued to hug him. -
Gwen quickly sped past him and stuck her tongue out.
He purred and pinned her gently to the bed. He nuzzled and nipped at her neck. "that's good~"
He nuzzled her cheek and purred lowly. -
He growled and ran after her, soon catching up.
She purred loudly and slipped her hands under his shirt, gently tracing his spine.
She smiled and kissed his forehead, "Be a bit less strict on her, try, okay?". -
She laughed and held onto Audrey tightly. Soon she jumped over a cabbage cart and heard it knock over. She flinched and looked back. "Sorry!!"
He purred happily and slid her shirt up, tracing his hands along her stomach gently.
Ben purred more and blushed lightly. "Maybe..." -
He laughed and called behind him, "Don't tear the city down, love!".
She gasped softly, and pressed her lips against his, kissing him gently and she ran her hands over his back.
She poked his cheeks, "Please?". -
Gwen laughed and kept running. "Like I could!" She finally spotted the sweet bun stall and stopped quickly.
He kissed her back gently and growled lowly. He traced circles along her stomach and then on her sides.
He chuckled lightly. "I still say maybe Jane." -
He smiled and stood beside her, "Alright, how many?".
She deepened the kiss, purring happily as she traced light lines along his spine.
She pouted lightly, "Just try...he's a good kid".
