She hung her head low, and bit her tongue hard. Stopping herself from sobbing, tears dribbled down her cheeks, "H-he's just kidding...h-he didn't mean that".

He hugged her tightly and wiped her tears. "It's okay Linn. We both know he didn't mean it..." He kissed her cheek.
Ben walked into the room and slammed the door loudly. -
She shook her head, hiding her face in his shoulder, her body shook with each sob.
Jane woke up with a start, "Jeez! Ben!". -
He hugged her tightly and kissed her temple.
Ben glared at her. "I'm not in the mood Jane." He walked over and sat in his chair. -
She looked up at him, her vision a bit blurry, "James..what if he meant it?".
Jane sighed, she jumped off the bed and walked towards him, "Tell me". -
He thought for a moment and sighed. "He would never mean it Linn. He can't mean it."
He stayed silent for a moment. "I walked in on James and Linn." His eyes glowed with anger. -
She shook her head, "He could...".
She tilted her head, frowning, "Walked in on them...doing what?". -
He hugged her tightly. "Don't think that."
"What do you think? I walked in on them and the didn't have clothes on, what do you think they did?!" He growled lowly and held his head in his hands. -
She leaned her head on his shoulder and sighed, "Yeah...I hope your right".
She rubbed her temples, "Mhhhhmmm...Ben dear don't shout", she sighed and shrugged a little, "It was bound to happen". -
He smiled. "Aren't I always right Linn?" He nuzzled her cheek.
He growled in response. "No. It shouldn't have happened. Not here and not goddamn now!" -
She purred a little and smiled slightly, "Oh...you and that big ego".
"But it happened anyway...", Jane raised her eyebrow a little, "And how old were we when I got pregnant?". -
He laughed and kissed her forehead. "Who said I had a big ego Ms. Linn?"
He looked at her. "I don't care how old we were, I wanted her to have a kid when she was married!" -
She giggled and nuzzled his neck, purring happily, "I say so, you have a horribly big ego".
"Well she didn't", she walked towards him and placed her hands gently on his shoulders, "Ben...what's done is done, getting worked up into a fit about it won't solve anything". -
He purred and nuzzled her cheek. "Do not~"
He glared out the window. "Well we don't have a daughter anymore." He shook his head. -
She giggled again and nuzzled back, "This is a debate we both know I'll win~".
Jane's eyes enlargened, "What the f--- do you mean?", if one knew Jane well, they would know she hates to swear and only did so when she was truly angry.
