I raised my hands in fake surrender, "Relax, we'll keep it as Ears"

"Good and Princess Ginger would be fine for you." He laughed loudly.

I stuck my tongue out at him childlishy, "I got colourful hair!", I poked his nose, "So anyway, Ears, how'd you find me?"

He shrugged. "It's called you have my hoodie, my favorite hoodie that smells like me." He pointed to his nose. "I could smell it."

I furrowed my eyebrows, is the smell that obvious? I ducked my head into the hood and took a sniff, it smelt like cinnamon and wood. Yeah, it was him, "I'm keeping it"

He sighed. "Fine whatever. Come on, we have to leave the city. I have to meet an associate in another city." He started walking.

Associate? I'll choose to calm my curiousity and not ask, "Okay", I said, walking behind him. I really must be crazy to be following a nameless boy, the things amnesia does.

He chuckled lightly. "Not going to ask questions? That's a first." He kept walking quickly, not hearing what the people said as he got to the town gates.

I listened to their whispered words, "Well, we might have a Queen", "Probably a fling, nothing more", what the hell were they talking about? "Mhhmm, well I've decided to kinda just go with this and pretend this is absolutely normal" -

Ben heard the Queen comment and her twitched. Yes the girl was interesting, but he would never, I mean never marry someone. He picked up the pace and grabbed Jane's wrist to help her keep up. -
(So how are you my fellow zombie?)
I quickened my pace to keep up with him, my feet fumbled over each other but I haven't tripped...yet. I could tell the crowd was bothering, why do they watch us? Is it me? Is it him? -
(I'm tired...and hungry.)
He finally got her to the gates and nodded to the guard. The guard fumbled with his keys and finally got the gate open. "Be careful out there boy, heard there's some wolves out there prowlin'." Ben nodded and kept walking, keeping a light grip on Jane's wrist. -
(Go eat)
"Wolves", my eyes widened with excitement, at the mention of the beautiful creature, the soft coats and gorgeous eyes, I couldn't stop the smile from creeping to my face. At least there's one thing I can expect -

Ben sighed. He hated wolves because of how many times they tried to eat him. When she finally got through the gates closed quickly. "You have to keep up with me alright Princess?" He let go of her wrist and saw her smile. "What are you smiling at?" He hadn't seen her smile before...it was nice.
