He sighed and heard a beep from the counter. He walked over and saw a video message was waiting for him. He opened it and blinked, it was Gale. What did she want? The Gale on his screen looked distressed. "Ben if your listening to this my message finally got through. Look I'll meet you in Bright City got it? I need to talk to you about him." He twitched slightly as the video message disappeared. "I better go find the girl anyways someone might be wandering the streets." He walked out of the hotel room quickly.

My legs grew tired of walking, after a while I soon found myself leaning against some building, watching the world go by in blurs, it was soothing. Not many people noticed me, I made an effort to hide my red locks in the hood of mystery boy's hoodie, yes I did end up taking his clothes.

He got out of the hotel and glanced around. He had to find her maybe Gale could help her with her memory problem. She took his favorite hoodie so she would be easy to spot. "Where is she?" I noticed a man in a trench coat near me, looking directly at me. I sent him a scowl before stuffing my hands in the pockets of the too big hoodie, and walked away quickly. I didn't turn back to look over my shoulder, I didn't want to see if he was following me, I didn't want to know

The man kept following her until she got to an alleyway. He chuckled loudly. Ben glared at the man in front of him. He was dirty and he didn't like it.

But he was following me, I felt his presence behind me as I walked through an alley. Smart Jane, most people get raped in alleys, really smart. I quickened my pace, almsot jogging. I dared a look behind me, I was right, he was following me, he was right at my heals.

The man reached out for her arm and slammed her against a wall. The greasy man smirked. "What is a girl like you doing out here alone?" He grinned widely. Ben let out a low growl. He hated men like him.

I hissed at the man, what am I a cat now? I wiggled my arm out of his grip and inched back into the wall. "Not looking for rubbish like you", he really creeped me out

The greasy man snarled and looked at her like a piece of meat. "Your feisty, I like that. " before her could get close to her again, Ben held his sword to the man's neck. "take a step closer to her I dare you."

My eyes widened as mystery boy appears, and the sword. The bloody, damn sword. Slightly terrified at the weapon but grateful for the rescue, I stood behind...oh I'll just name him Ears, yep Mr Ears the rescuer.

The man's eyes widened as he looked at Ben. "Eh... I better go she's not worth it." The man then ran off. Ben sighed and looked at the girl behind him, placing his sword back in its sheath. "You alright Princess?"

I nodded my head and motioned towards the sword, "Yeah just don't poke my eye out with that thing Ears", I looked at the ground and shuffled my feet, "Thanks for saving me, Ears"

He chuckled lightly. "No problem, and Ears really princess? Is that all you got?" His eyes glowed a bit with mischief.

I rolled my eyes but the grin on my face was too obvious, "What, should I call you Arse instead, after your cute butt but s--- personality? Does Eyebrows fit better?"
