He chuckled lightly and kissed her forehead. "Wake up Princess, we have to walk today." He hoped she would wake up.

My eyes fluttered open and found Ears, I pouted and hid my face in his shoulder, "Give me an hour...maybe 2"

He laughed. "Sorry Princess. My associate will kill me if I'm late." He got out of the sleeping bag and stretched. "I'll buy you something to eat when we get there alright? How does a sweet bun sound?"

"I don't what that is but I'll eat it if it won't kill me", I say crawling the sleeping bag, suddenly thoughts of last night flooded my mind, I felt my cheeks redden a little. Wow, the things I do when I'm drowsy...I wonder what I'd do if I were drunk

He chuckled. "Alright. Come on were close its going to be cut into two days. We walked alot yesterday." He walked out of the tent and breathed in the fresh air. He saw her cheek had reddened. He remembered everything, he wasn't drowsy that night. "Come on, I gotta take the tent down."

"Okay", I said standing up and walking out the tent, the sky was clear and bright. Seemed the rain had cleared up last night? What time did it stop? The only thing that shows signs of the pour were little shiny droplets littered everywhere

He quickly got the tent down and into his duffel bag. He watched her, wondering why she had a puzzled look. He walked over to her. " What's wrong?"

I shrugged, "Nothing...I kinda miss the rain", I didn't feel right without it, I knew the storm was far away

He sighed. "Well I guess that's true. Come on lets go." He lifted her up and carried her bridal style. "No need for you to walk." He let another small smile escape.

Her face lit up as she caught his smile, she laughed, "Bridal style? Are we getting married now?" She swung around and sat on his shoulders, "Let us run to the sunset my mighty steed!"

He shook his head. "I was trying to be nice." He blinked and turned to see a bush move. He reached down to grab a knife for his back pocket and hurled it at the bush.
"Ow you son of a hog monkey!! That hurt Cat!" A girl walked into the clearing holding her arm. Her blue eyes looked furious yet showed a bit of playfulness. Her black hair was long and looked straight. Her clothes....well she looked like a bounty hunter to say the least.
He blinked. "Gwen?" -
My eyes widened, the poor girl was bleeding. I tried not to be intimidated but gosh, this girl looks fierce. My natural instinct took over, I jumped off his shoulders and walked to the girl, "Are you okay?", I looked at the wound, assesing the damage and how to fix it. Wait...natural insitinct? Well at least I know more about my past, was a healer or maybe something of the sort?

Gwen blinked. "Of course I'm fine. I'm very tolerable to pain." She glanced at Ben. "Geez Cat. Tapping this innocent thing? I thought that was above you." She gave him a small perverted grin.
Ben blushed. "Shut up! And stop calling me that!" Anger sparked in his eyes.
