After an hour or two, Lianna put the book down and closed her eyes. If she was going to do some of the driving tomorrow, she wanted to be rested. After 10 minutes of closing her eyes and thinking, Lianna fell asleep.

He woke up and stretched out on the bed. Yawning he stood up and looked around. He grabbed his axe and whistled for Sam. Together they crept outside through the back door. Walking to the barn he wounderd if they had any animal's. Opening the doors he saw two pigs and a cow. He sighed and walked over to the skinny animals. "Hmm...."

She finally fell asleep. Jess dreamed of the day her and her brother separated, only in her dream just when they let go of their hug, he got bit. Just when he was about to launch at her she woke up. She looked at the clock next to her it was read 2:02. She usually woke up around two in the morning every night. She got out of bed and quietly walked down stairs with her bath robe dragging on the step behind.

Lianna jumped up sweating. The nightmares came back. She looked at her mostly broken, but still working watch. 2:07am. She sighed and went to see if there was anything decent that they could take with them in the kitchen.

He was in the kitchen with blood on his hands. Finding a towel he wiped it off and looked up at the girls. "Hey." He said softly. "Whats up?" A bloody knife sat on the table next to him.

"Bad dream...I'm gonna go get some fresh air." She says walking to the front door. "By the way, what were you doing out there?" She asks stopping herself from twisting the knob just yet.

"I didn't have a very pleasant sleep either." Lianna said. "Also, why do you have a bloody knife? More zombies?" She was looking through the cupboards, throwing whatever seemed good in her bag.

He shook his head. "The barn had two pigs and a young cow. I killed one of the pigs." He shrugged. "I was going to cook it before we leave." Grabbing a water bottle he poured it over the meat in the sink. "Turns out this place has a well." He turned the sink on and soon water poured out. Turning it back off he began to slice up meat in strips. "Save the rest for the road."

"Sounds good to me." The sky is beautiful. It's filled with thousands of starts from where she's standing. Jess sighs looking back at the house. She wonders how long they will be there. Or if she can trust them. Or...if her brother is alive.

Lianna nodded, "ok" she said. "But I'm going to go try to sleep." She walked back into the living room and lied on the couch again. She managed to fall asleep.

He cleaned the meat and headed outside to start a fire. Once it was going he grabbed a frying pan and threw the meat on it. He began to cook the meat staying quiet.

She can smell something cooking after a while. Her stomach growls a little at her demanding food. She bits her lip deciding if she should go to the source or stay where she at.
