A bit later, Fang was sitting in his room. -
Max told him, "I'm going to go to bed now."

Fang nodded. "Same here."

She went into her room.

Fang laid down on his bed.

She laid down on hers.

Fang fell asleep.

Max stayed awake.

A minute later, Fang woke up.

Max sat up in bed, rubbing her eyes.

Fang yawned and rubbed his eyes.

Max heard that he was awake. -

Fang tried to go back to sleep but couldn't. -

Max couldn't either -

Fang just stared up at the ceiling.
