Vortex grinned, loving the exciting rush of the wind in her fur. She flapped up high, before diving down and turning into an arcing loop. She spread her wings and glided among the clouds.

Blaze flew higher, flying in loops and weaving around birds.

Vortex let out a happy laugh. "I love flying!" She shouted, her voice carried off by the wind.
Back at camp, Ink's wounds were being treated. Lance was watching closely, making sure his father would be alright. -
Starflight padded over to Lance. "he'll be ok," she said.

Lance sighed. "I guess so." He shook his coat.
Vortex was slowly tiring. "Should we stop for the night?" -
"I think we should." Redd barked.

Vortex nodded and swerved downwards. She landed at the edge of a small pine forest. A soft blanket of snow covered the ground. "I guess we'll be sleeping here."

"As long as we get to sleep." Redd padded to a nice spot and curled up.

Vortex pawed some snow away and curled into a shivering ball.

"So i was wondering Vortex... What do you actually think of me?" Redd asked. -

Vortex lifted her head off her paws. "What do you mean?" She asked. -
"Well um... Well what am i like to you?"
