Strike: "me?" I say nervously, "should we really depend on me?"
-
Aurora looked sternly at Strike. "Not only you, four of you. If you cannot work together, you cannot fulfill the prophecy. You are a good, loyal wolf. The pack trusts you."
-
"I know, but should we even depend on a team with me?" I say anxiously. Not waiting for an answer, I pad to the edge of camp, looking into a puddle.
-
Aurora followed. "You shouldn't doubt yourself. You are capable of great things." She said calmly.
-
Blaze walked over to Strike. "Alpha's right. You shouldn't doubt yourself. I mean that you were picked for the prophecy! Only the bravest, best of the best got picked," he said, nuzzling the top of her head with his muzzle. "Come on!"
-
Aurora smiled and stepped back. "You can leave when Redd and Vortex wake up." She barked.
-
Blaze nodded. Suddenly, he fluffed out his black wings. "Guess what?" He asked.
-
"What?" Vortex asked, padding up. She was well-rested and ready.
-
Redd padded up to them as well.
-
Blaze said, "We're part of a prophecy! And we get to leave Right Now!" He smiled, then started to glide in a happy circle.
-
Vortex smiled crookedly. "...We know. We were there." She said, her eyes smiling. "Whenever you guys are ready, so am I."
-
"oh." He nodded. "I'm ready!" He pushed off of the ground, then flapped his wings so he was about 50 feet above the air.
-
Vortex began to run swiftly, leaping gracefully into the air and flapping next to Blaze.
-
Redd took off smoothly.
-
Blaze started to go faster. He did his little technique (i know I spell that wrong .-.)... He pressed his wings back to his body, then started to plumet to the ground. At the last second, he unfolded his wings. He'd gone about 300 feet in thirty seconds, thanks to what he did.
