Topaz watched him, concerned. "Maybe it's all the flying. We can walk the rest of the way."

Blaze didn't reply. He started to walk, thankful that he didn't have to fly. The wound on his side hurt, too, but he ignored that as well.

Topaz ducked as two large ink hounds flew by. "Watch out!" She barked to Blaze. "Duck!"

Blaze ducked down, but he couldn't actually blend in. He had bright ginger fur, so it didn't help. He flattened himself, the used his black wings to cover up his body.

Topaz backed into a small cave, trying to hide her bright fur. The two hounds landed out side the cave and sniffed. "I smell the Memorian wolves." The smaller one growled. The larger one nodded in agreement, stepping towards Blaze.

Blaze already knew that the ink hound saw him. Suddenly, he flapped his wings in their faces, then kicked the smaller one in the stomach. Then, before they could see him, he jumped inside the cave, then wrapped his black wings around himself in the shadows.

The smaller one snarled in surprise. "We must tell Hammer!" One barked. They flew off. Topaz sighed. "Oh no. Now Hammer will know we're here. You aren't hurt, right?"

Blaze shook his head. "No, I am not," He murmured. "Let's get out of here!" He exclaimed, flapping his wings.

Topaz shook her head. "We can't leave Vortex and Redd!"

Blaze looked over his shoulder. "I meant that we have to leave this spot before the hounds come back!" He flew towards the center of mt. blood, scanning te ground for hiding places.

strike: I nervously try to hide my white and purple wings. At least my fur is mostly black. "If anyone comes, either pretend to be a prisoner or an ink hound." I whisper urgently.

Redd woke up. "Vortex?" He asked quitle. Then he realized what she said. He got put and looked around in panic. "What on earth happened!?" He barked.
