The third fox slipped past a few cats, but was shocked to see that there were a lot of cats still in the cave. He yowled in fear and turned back again. But one of the cave-guards already attacked him.

Crow hissed at the fox, but another cat had already attacked it.

The fox in the cave slipped away, stole a rabbit for the fresh-kill pile, and ran away as fast as he could, the other foxes quickly tried to follow him, and struggled to break free from the cats.

Crow could only watch as the fox ran off, even though she could have easily chased it down.

"They got fresh-kill!" A young tom yowled. "We can't go after them now." A more expirienced she-cat replied.

Crow longed to take off after the fox, and bring it down, but she turned away.

Crow yawned, sleepy. The fox attack was still on her mind, and she still wanted to find the foxes and attack them. -
Snow woke up. She imagined the foxes eating the rabbit SHE caught. (it was her rabbit) She got up and padded over to Crow. "Can we go hunting?" She asked.
Sun looked at her kits proudly, their fur had already fluffed up. The silver she-kit was really fluffy with long fur, and a bushy tail. The tom had shorter fur. -
Crow nodded, then meowed, "Go see if you can get a Cave-guard to come with us." Then Crow quoted something the Cave-guards told most to-be'. "Never forget to look up!"

"I don't understand." Snow meowed. "We're just going hunting." She added.

"Who's going to make sure an eagle doesn't carry you off when you're stalking a rabbit?"

"I'm eight moons!" Sow meowed.

"And Eagles have taken big strong cats a lot older than you!"
