"Great!" Flood meowed, plotting to... he had no idea. Probably kill her, if she was a Caver-dweller. If not, he'd pretend to get lost.
(Cave-dweller means Cavernclan to some rouges.) -

She jumped up onto a ledge, motioning for him to follow. She leapt onto the next one, about a third of the way up. -
Flood followed her up, meowing, "So, where are you from?"

The black she cat paused to think, finally replying in a slightly secretive tone, "From the forest. My parents were killed by a badger, I managed to escape into the tunnels. I've been here ever since."

Flood nodded. "I was born here in the tunnels. My parents said they used to live in a group of cats called 'Caveclan,' or something like that."

"It's Cavernclan," she blurted out, not pausing to think. "Er...I mean, that's what my brother told me."

Flood looked at her curiously. "It he part of that group, your brother?"

"Um, yes, he is. I visit him from time to time, but I never get too close."

Flood nodded. "My parents used to do that. Until Cavernclan's leader found out." He hissed the last sentence.

"Who was the leader?" She asked in a whisper. Hopping onto the next ledge, she trembled slightly. She was almost afraid to hear the answer.

"I think it was Nettlestar or something like that..." Flood hissed, jumping up next to her. It wasn't a total lie; his parents had been killed by Cavernclan. But it was Stonestar who did it. They had just been hunting, and Stonestar had attacked... Flood was lucky to have Survived.

Skyheart shivered as she pictured the black she cat attacking two helpless rogues. "Nettlestar wouldn't..." She whispered. "That's terrible."

Flood nodded. "I-It was horrible!" His voice took on a shaking aspect.

Skyheart meowed in sympathy. "I'm so sorry."

Flood nodded, and meowed, "A-at least it w-was a whi-while ago..."
