Skypaw purred louder as the twolegs soft strokes comforted her. In the back of her mind, though, she still wondered what had happened to Snowflake. When would they come for her? -
Gullfeather watched the light brown tabby race off. Suddenly she realized how much she had been neglecting Skypaw. I should've cared about her as much as he seems to...

The Twoleg smiled, then yelped and stood as an older Twoleg growled something from outside the monster. The younger Twoleg yelped something back, and sat down again.

Skypaw frowned as the younger twoleg say down and stopped stroking her. It was so frustrating that she couldn't understand them. She meowed pitifully. -
The Twoleg smiled at her. He wished she didn't have to go through a physical, or get shots, but at least she'd be healthy. He picked her up and placed her on his lap, then stroked her a few more times.

Skypaw sat contented. The twolegs weren't as bad as other cats said. She meowed at the twoleg. "Where is Snowflake?" Even though she knew he wouldn't understand.

The older Twoleg yowled something from outside the monster again, and the younger sighed. He stood up, still holding Skypaw, and exited the momster.

Skypaw looked around, trying to figure out where they were going. Tall twoleg-made structures surrounded the area. She pressed close to the twoleg.

The older Twoleg, who was short and had white head fur, barked another order, and the young Twoleg reluctantly started to walk towards a building. He stroked Skypaw in an attempt to comfort her.

Skypaw twisted in his arms, climbing onto his shoulder. Being an undersized cat as well as a young one, she fit there quite comfortably. They approached the building and Skypaw flicked her ears back nervously.
