Redfur tried to comfort him. "It'll be okay. This is your destiny. InStarxlan, we can run together with all our friends. You'll be able to see again." She said lightly, licking his cheek.
-
"I wish I never fell for Storm's trick. I should have known." Oakstripe sighed again.
-
Redfur sighed sadly. She wished that too. With all her heart. "It's alright. She's still wandering around out there, blind. He doesn't have anyone who loves her."
Storm's body sat between the dark forest and Starclan. Her brother Thunderpaw was calling her. "Splashfoot! Join me!" Storm hissed, ears flat. "That's not my name!" She ran into the forest. -
Oakstripe just sighed again.
-
Should the fire have faded and gone out now, so they can go in and find Storm and Heatherpaw 's bodies?)
-
Yeah, sure!)
Blizzardpaw sat down, struggling not to wail out his troubles to the world. -
Skykit carefully approached the tabby. "I know it doesn't mean much, but there are cats who care about you."
-
"Name me 1!" Blizzardpaw wailed.
-
"Me."
Gullfeather yowled. "The camp is clear! We can enter again!" -
"Stop lying! Every cat hate me! Oh, why did I ever join the rouges?!!"
-
Skykit stomped over and swatted him. Hard. "I care. Ivypaw cares. Finchbreeze cares. Stop wallowing in self pity and realize that you. Are. Amazing!" She yowled, glaring.
Windpaw gasped as the smile cleared. Storm's body was next to Heatherpaw's. -
Blizzardpaw looked at her, her gaze like FInchbreeze's, Like STorm's, Like Sky's. With a fearful yelp at that gaze so similar to his enemies, the ones who wanted to kill him, he ran away as fast as he could.
-
Skykit didn't move. Simply sunk down to the ground, closed her eyes, ad went still. She wasn't sure if she ever wanted to get up.
Sandpaw gasped, then turned on Nettlestar. "You...you were here! Y-You could've s-saved her!" She hissed, now crying again. -
"Sandp-paw, I'm sorry! I didn't see her! I-I must have not seen her! Oh, I'm so sorry!" Nettlestar let her grief show for the first time to all cats. Her resolve was breaking, and all of the cat's knew it.
Blizzardpaw stopped a bit away and started to cry, really cry. He wished he was just a normal cat, just a normal Apprentice. -
Skykit heard his sobs and flattened her ears, her own sobs adding the the mournful chorus that filled the clan on this sad day. Sandpaw glared through her tears, unaware of the Leader's breakdown. "She's dead! You saved a kittypet but not my sister?! Was it because you were a kittypet? Or did you not like her?!" She wailed, furious and heartbroken at the same time.
Depressing times for Cavernclan. Poor Blizzardpaw!)
