Firepaw muttered something incoherent and shifted in her sleep. "Who is it?" Shadowpaw asked curiously. Badgerpaw and Brightpaw padded into the den too, going to their own nests.

"Uh, it's, um..." He shifted uncomfortably. "...someone. "

"Come on, I won't tell anyone." He promised.

"Promise? "

"Promise."

Bearpaw quickly motioned with his head towards Firepaw.

Shadowpaw's eyes widened to double their normal size. "Firepaw? You like [/i]Firepaw?![/i] As in, stubborn, moody, got-mauled-by-you-and-hates-your-guts Firepaw?"

"I didn't mean to hurt he- Hey, how do you know that? "

"She was ranting to me about it earlier..." Shadowpaw said with a shrug.

"Well, I didn't know her shoulder was hurt!"

"You still attacked her though." He pointed out. Firepaw shifted again and pawed at something in her sleep.

"I didn't want to, either. "

"Why'd you do it then?" The calico asked, confused.

"One of the Sunclan warriors saw me not fighting anyone. He pointed out Firepaw, and basically told me to fight her or die."

"And you chose to fight her. While she was already injured." Shadowpaw finished, glancing at Firepaw looking slightly concerned. "It wasn't his fault, somebody made him do it." Badgerpaw called over.
