Skykit: I grin. "Thanks! But where's my mother? She's a big black and white cat with yellow eyes. Her name is Gullfeather. I haven't seen my dad either..."
Gullfeather: I shake my head, confused and disappointed in myself. "How am I going to explain the flood to the kits...? Shadowpelt, Pinestar, Lightningfur..." I mutter. -
"I saw a cat like that over there a bit ago." Blizzardkit meowed, flicking his tail towards where Gullfeather was.

Skykit: I nod and begin to walk, but I hesitate. "Maybe I'll wait here. She looks busy." She's talking to some big cats I don't know.
Gullfeather: My eyes get slightly wet at the thought of Shadowpelt, but I blink the tears away. "What should I do first?" -
"Just rest. I'll have a cat bring your kits over so you can see them." Nettlestar meowed, her tail lightly flicking.
"Aw, you can go! That's just my mom and some of her friends." Blizzardkit fliched slightly at the word 'mom', but he felt he had to say it. "I'll go with you if you want!" -
Skykit: I smile wider. "Yes please!" I meow. Stormkit shakes Jaggedkit awake.
Gullfeather: I close my eyes in blissful gratitude. "Thanks." -
Sky: I get up shakily. I feel unusually light, and my pelt is throbbing. I've been hiding for, like, FOREVER. I thought I was dead, but I really wasn't. I walked a few steps before collapsing. I'll find Blizzard and kill him!
Finchbreeze: "Gullfeather?" I called, looking for the she-cat. -

Blizzardkit began to walk off towards Gullfeather, motioning for the younger kits to follow. -
