Bearpaw watched, amused. It was obvious that this cat was either a loner orca Cavernclan cat. They were a horrible climber.

Firepaw yelped as yet another too thin branch broke beneath her. Clutching the branch above her with her front paws, she groaned and pulled herself up. "Stupid Sunclan cats...how do they do this?!"

Bearpaw couldn't help it. He burst out laughing.

Firepaw jumped and yowled again, tumbling out the tree for a second time. Unfortunately, the tabby had gotten farther up, and the impact with ground wan't exactly painless. "Ow..." She muttered, picking herself up (again) and glaring at the cat for a split second, before her eyes widened in surprise. "Bearpaw?"

Bearpaw's laughter fit continued for another minute, then slowly retreated. Bearpaw turned his gazed back to the cat, who seemed to be staring at him. She looked familiar for some reason... his eyes widened as he realized who it was.

A little annoyed by both his laughter and his sudden silence, Firepaw's eyes narrowed. "What's so funny?"

Bearpaw grinned slightly. "You're a horrible climber! " He meowed, almost faling into the grasp of laughter once again.

Firepaw scowled. "Well it's not like I've had much practiced..." She grumbled. "Why are you here, anyway?" She asked, tilting her head in a question. -
Bearpaw hesitated slightly. "I can't stand it in those caves." He was silent for a moment, then meowed, "And to say thank you, I guess. "

Firepaw did a double take. "Thank you?!" She me owed in disbelief. "I tried to kill you, in case you've forgotten." The tabby reminded him, looking confused.

"But you didn't, and that's why I'm thanking you."
