With a bright flash, a flame appeared, hovering over Loki's palm. Megan's eyes widened. She had grown used to Lucy's flames, but she was still terrified of fire in general. He stepped towards her. "Get away from me!" Megan struggled against her bonds, her eyes wide and glued to the fire. He moved even closer, letting it hover at her side, the heat searing her skin, the flames stretching out towards her. She closed her eyes. He inched his hand forward. She screamed. The flames left marks on her smooth skin, making her cry out as smoky tears slid down her face. After what seemed like hours of the torture, he relented, the flames vanishing along with the Asgardian himself. But the camera remained, it's rhythmic red flashing capturing every moment of her suffering.

Lucy was in an almost identical situation. She too had woken up in a plain white room, a camera's recording light capturing the scene. She had both arms and legs restrained. Her level of stubbornness (which rivaled an ox's) was what had kept her struggling ferociously for some time now. Her writs were aching by the time Loki flashed into existence in front of her. "My, my, you're a fierce one aren't you?" He mocked. "Go to hell." Lucy spat. Loki smiled as if she'd complimented him. "I have some things to do first..." He drawled, waving his hand. -
A weapon appeared, a short black-handled blade. At the sight of the knife Lucy went rigid, her breath hitching in her throat. How did he know? How?! Of all the things he could've chosen to torture her with he had to choose a knife. Her heart rate doubled as she flashed back to years earlier, to the countless times she'd held a blade just like that against her chest, knowing that with one motion she could end it all...She would've, if not for her friends. She stayed because of them, kept breathing because of the unspoken agreement between them. 'You die, I die.' It was simple.

But the powerful feeling she for when she felt the cold tip of the metal against her skin...it terrified her. And after an unfortunate run-in with a few thugs who happened to have knives on them, the fear had only doubled. She still had the scars. Loki advanced on her, and the murderous look on his face made it all too clear that he was about to give her more. He relished in her fear, in the desperate look in her eyes, as he placed the flat of the blade against her cheek, smiling as she turned her face away, screwing her eyes shut. "Are you nervous?" He asked in a mocking voice. "...No."

His smile faltered, but only for a moment as he moved the knife down, the point at her stomach, pressing in slightly. "Nervous?" She didn't look at him. "...N-No." Growing a bit tired of the mortal's resistance, he lifted the knife and pressed the blade at her neck, using just enough forced to draw blood. Lucy clenched her teeth as a small whimper forced its way out. "Nervous now, mortal?" He asked, an evil gleam in his emerald eyes. Tears pricked Lucy's eyes. She forced them opened and stared straight at the god. "No."

He was taken by anger and stepped back, raising the knife. "How dare you defy me?!" He bellowed, bringing the weapon down. She cried out as the metal dug into her pale flesh, and released a strangled sob as he wrenched it out again. The cut was short but deep, in her upper arm, near her shoulder. Raised above her, the crimson blood dripped down into her, scarlet drops and salty tears staining her tattered clothes. He once again vanished, leaving a second broken girl sobbing and bleeding.
