Well, for starters, don't scratch a lot, or move unconfortably. This might happen subconsiously, but it's good to watch it bevause you might come off as nervous and/or unconfortable)

Decide which way you will be looking. It might sound strange, but your brain has two sides.
If your friends happen to be lie experts, look to the left. If you look to the left you will most likely be bringing up memories.
If they're not, look to your right, it will actually help you create a good lie, as that's where your creativity lies, thus making things up.) -
Looking to the right will help a bit in producing the lie)

Also try lying a few times in the mirror like you would to your friends.
A person usually has certain habits when lying.
In a test a subject was given a bunch of cards. They had to pick one and then lie a few times. Then mix truth and lies a bit, and then the guy with the cards asked which one they had. She lied and he knew it.
He had noticed she bit her lips when elling a lie, so see if you can spot a habit and don't do it whenever you're lying.) -
