Anthony's eyes widened as he was pulled into a closet. He decided to keep quiet incase the aliens were here.

She shut the door, closing out all light. A tiny yellowish white sliver snuck in through on the floor. She backed up, bumping into him accidentally, then moving forward again to give him space.

He moved over a little to give her space.

She heard them walking down the hallway and checking each open room.

Anthony heard doors open as he realised that it probably were the aliens, trying to find more test subjects.

It felt as if her heart was beating out of her chest. She heard one of them walking toward the closet.

He held his breath and shut his eyes tight. He didnt wanna go back to that place of torture.

Diane involuntarily reached back and held Anthony's hand tightly in hers.
Meanwhile, the alien reached for the doorknob, only to be stopped by his colleague. "We have to go back now, hurry up!" It ran out of the room and downstairs. -
He laced his fingers with hers and squeezed it as he heard the familiar voice.

She heard them speaking downstairs, and realized she'd been holding her breath. She breathed in deeply.

He made sure they were gone. "You ok?" he whispered.

"Yeah, are you?" she whispered back, dropping his hand.

"Yeah." he replied. "Don't worry, they rarely check one place twice."

She sighed in relief, opening the door. "Good."

"Yeah." he sat back down on the bed and sighed quietly.
