I heard somebody. I looked up. "Hello?"

He looked around for a minute, trying to find the voice. He made his way over to her, checking everyone else on the way.

I undid my seatbelt and stood up shakily. "Is he okay? I can't look," I said.

He looked at the little boy in the seat next to her, and checked for a pulse. Nothing. "Is he your brother?"

I nodded my head and a tear escaped my eye. "He's dead. Isn't he?" I asked.

"I'm... I'm sorry." He couldn't meet her eyes.

"Its fine. Its okay." I covered my face with my hands.

He crouched on the ground, watching her.

I opened my eyes. "You don't have to stare at me," I said between sobs.

He looked away, going to check everyone else on the plane. He wasn't crying like she was. It was more of a numb shock for him. My mom's dead.

I walked into the isle. What do I do now? My head hurt.

He walked back down the alley, stopping at his mother's body. He kissed her gently on the cheek and continued to the girl. He pulled out his phone. "No service out here..."

"Should we see if there's anyone here?" I asked, wiping the last tear away.

He nodded. "That'd be a good idea," he said quietly.

I nodded too and walked towards the exit of the plain. "Um, do you know how to open this?"
