His mom was somewhere. Using the tiny restroom, right? Eh, he didn't remember. Their seats weren't even beside each other.
-
I grabbed a water and some goldfish out of my bag and grabbed my little brother Micah's shoulder. I gestured the snacks towards him and he took the water.
-
He was mining for diamonds, and the little kid had stopped kicking his seat. How long was it until they landed?
-
I put some goldfish in my mouth and I heard a little ding. "There is a problem with our engine, please buckle your seat belts," I heard the women say. I buckeled my seatbelt and helped Micah with his.
-
He looked up, buckled the seatbelt, and went back to his game. His mom came back, sitting down. She buckled hers as well.
-
I heard a thud. Micah started crying. I grabbed his hand and felt a sudden pressure in my chest like we were falling.
-
His mom started freaking out. For Seth, it seemed like time was moving a lot slower. He didn't exactly know what was happening, but it felt like one of those rides at the fair that raises and then drops really fast. He looked at his mom, and grabbed her hand.
-
I pulled Micah as close to me as possible in the seats and hugged him tight. "It's okay, its okay Micah," I whispered. This was our first time on a plain, he was scared of them and never would get on one.
-
Everyone else on the plane was freaking out, too. There was another announcement. "Ladies and gentleman, please remain calm. We're going to have to make an emergency landing."
-
My mom sitting behind us started yelling our names. "We're fine mom, we're okay," I said.
-
Except, it wasn't okay. The pilot, rigid with fear of messing up, had almost successfully started to land the plane. That was, until he had a heart attack and the plane began its quick descent into the water.
-
The flight attendant ran to the front and tried to pull the [lain up almost successfully. She pulled it to where half of the plain landed in the water and half crashed on land.
-
(Is everyone alive? I know not everyone would be, but are they the only survivors?)
He bounced up, but was pulled back down by his seatbelt, as the plane made its bumpy landing. He looked around. I'm alive! Just... a little shaken. -
(Idk whatever. Your mom could live and my brother could live but we could be separated)
I closed my eyes. I refused to open them. I hugged Micah tighter, hoping he had lived. -
He looked over at his mom. She was dead. He unbuckled, scooting out into the aisle and looking around. He stumbled, still a little shocked. "I-is anyone else okay?"
