What type of D&D? The only type I'm really familiar with is AD&D 2nd edition :/

hm... im new to DnD soi dont know how to play. me and my friend made a less complicated version of DnD called dungeons and doodles. all you need is the ability to role play and imagination. you start offf with a character with 10 stat points. for instance:
name: ivyscar
race: dark elf
starter weapon: small dagger
class: theif
atk: 3
speed:4
def: 2 -
I grew up playing 3.5E with my dad and family friends.
Recently I've been hired as Dungeon Master for 4E with a few of my buddies.
Other than that, we play some BS D&D at school, and just generally joke around with it. -
