Thread Topic: A question from atheists
-
No you're wrong.I'm calling the infinite loop of things that required something else to create them s---ty.
-
And what logic is there behind that?
If you deem that one thing requires a creator, then why claim that something else doesn't? -
Actually we have the same viewpoint on this one.I'm saying this kind of answer won't work.
-
-
What I called s---ty at first was the logic that everything needs a creator, not any of your words. You misunderstood me.
-
"Whatever the answer could be,something must've created that. This is s---ty."
Umm, there's not a lot to misunderstand here. Considering we've had over a full page of discussing and probing that one single statement and you sounded as if you were defending it. Either I have suddenly forgotten all the rules to grammar, debate, and logical conversation, or you have contradicted yourself since you said that statement and never gave a single fucking hint that you didn't agree with it. -
"Whatever the answer could be":By answer,I meant the answer to the question what is the first thing that created the world.
Maybe I put it bad together, blame it on my not-perfect English. There's no contradiction. -
YOu just admitted that if you agree with someone that you'll say the opposite and that's why it sounds like we're disagreeing. AND NOW YOU'RE SAYING YOU'RE NOT CONTRADICTING???
-
"When you say something and I disagree,I express my own opinion.
When you say something that I agree with, well I don't bother to express my opinion which is identical to yours."
This is what I said in offbeat. -
"This is why I always sound like I'm on your opposite side."
You missed the part that made it sound like you took up the opposite side if you agreed with someone. -
Doesn't "sound like" mean "appear" or simply "seem"?
-
The context makes it questionable. The way it was worded makes it sound like it could go either way.
-
I always seem to be on your opposite side because:
When you say something and I disagree,I express my own opinion.
When you say something that I agree with, well I don't bother to express my opinion which is identical to yours.
I hope you get it. -
And this is why you're contradictory.
You say if you agree with someone, you don't express your opinion because it's the same as theirs.
You have spent the past 3 days arguing with me over the possibility of a God.
And then you claim that you agree with me.
That's the part that doesn't make any sense. You're self contradictory. -
I don't always agree with you.And god's one of them.
Please,do you really not get my words or what?
