I was born a Christian, raised as a Christian, lived as a Christian, still am living as a Christian, and I plan on continuing my life as a Christian.
Thank you very much and enjoy your life!!! -
First, i was raised polytheist. Over time i realized how ridiculous the religion i was a part of was from a rational point of view, which led to my subsequent and brief conversion to the school of thought that is atheism...but once i was on the path of logic, i came to find out atheism and particularly-atheists, dont make a lot of sense either. Equally briefly i considered myself agnostic before settling firmly on a natrualist system of faith, devoid of either neccesity or doubt of god. Over years the neccesity for spirituality itself slowly faded from my life and was replaced by devout materialism and logical form.

that's so sad.
urs 2 barberbob.
I feel sad for you both.
I have always been a Christian, always will be one, I don't take any offense slim/barberbob, at first I was always sort of reciting what I heard Godwise, never comprehending it. I really would say "Jesus died on the cross to save me from my sins." and not really know what that meant. that he was nailed to a cross. that he died. and all for ME. I do now. It sort of hit me a couple of years ago at church... wait wow he DIED? wow. I mean, I always knew that He loved me and Hes good and all, but it just sort of all impacted me at once. Ive got a couple of nonchristian friends, and we're friends despite our religion, but they sort of deny/reject/refuse anything that I say. they go to church at easter and Christmas, but they don't believe in Jesus. that just doesn't make sense to me... you should believe in Jesus. if you don't why go to church? church could help you learn about and believe in Jesus, but that's not their intention AT ALL. they just go because they "should". because other people do and they feel like they need to also. but that's not how it works. you actually need to believe in Jesus as a part of the all powerful trinilty that makes this world what it is... yeah.
