For instance:
-First week and she had her bible out preaching to out.
-Last week she flat out told us to read more of our bibles.
-She also gave us 'homework' last thursday, whic was to read our bibles and tell her what King Nebakenezer was famous for.
Last time I checked that was against the law. I go to a public school.
Course, I'm the only agnostic there. We used to have an athiest, but he moved because of all the bullying.-_- -
Take a voice recorder with you for a while. The next time she does that, record it and take it home. Make several copies. Take a copy to the principal and tell them that if they don't do something, that you will sue.
If they don't listen, take it to the super attendant.
It is illegal. Don't let them get away with it. -

Next time, go up to her and say: "I don't believe in the bible, what should I do?"
See what she says. Or, if your a bit of a "goody two shoes" (its not bad BTW to be one) do what Bob said. -

My Engish teacher does kinda the same thing, just not as severely.

Why don't you just tell the school? They should know that's against the law. If they don't just tell them. If you think they won't believe you, bring some prove with you.

As someone who is currently studying to be a high school history teacher, this offends me. It is apalling that your teacher is using the Bible, which at the very least is a highly fictionalized secondary source (not primary source), to teach you history. I don't know if she is going to teach you about religions other than Christianity, but if she doesn't, she is doing you a huge disservice. And if she gives you biased holier than thou garbage about other religions, she is also doing you a disservice. In my veiw, a history teacher should be a historian at their very core. The job of the historian should be to offer an unbiased, objective veiw of history, and not some slanted garbage you use simply to back up your own opinion, picking the facts that help your case and ignoring the facts that hurt your case. When someone bends the truth for their own end like that, I personally want to chop their balls off/tie their tubes.
