But I have absolutely nothing against Christains, unless they're the ones who try and shove their religion down your throat.
I've tried this. When a guy asked me why I don't believe in God, I asked him why he didn't believe in Zeus, or Buddha, or Horus and so on. He told me because they're not real. I asked how he knew. He said there's no evidence. I asked about evidence for his God. He said the Bible. I asked if that was it. He couldn't come up with anything else.
There you have it, if you try and shove your beliefs down my throat, I'll spit me back at you.

If the Bible is evidence of God, then the Sutras are evidence of Krishna, the Qur'an is evidence of Allah, and the paq'batlh is evidence of Kahless.

If there was not a God, we are all just spawn from an overloaded atom, then why is there a difference between right and wrong at all?
Also, consider the following:
If one does not believe in God and God is truely false, when they die, they gain nothing.
If one does believe in God and God is truely false, when they die, they gain nothing.
If one does not believe in God and God is TRUE, when they die, they LOSE EVERTHING.
If one does believe in God and God is TRUE, when they die, they GAIN EVERTHING.
Think about it twice before you try to spit it out.
You only have everthing to lose. -
Just because we don't believe in God, doesn't mean we roam the streets committing crimes. Plenty of Christians have done worse things than Atheists have, but I'm not saying that's always the case.
Your last paragraph definetly showed a point, from a Christian point of view. But believing in something, no matter how many believe, doesn't make it true. And likewise, disbelieving something, no matter how many disbelieve it, doesn't make it false
I was defending my reasoning for being an Atheist against a guy who was pressuring me to become a Christian. I don't believe in a God. Nor would I want to, considering his genocidal and homophobic tendencies. -

Without an omnipotent God there would be no right or wrong.
Things would just happen.
Or nothing would happen cuz there would be nothing.

The reason crimes are crimes is because they hurt people. Not because some dude in the sky says not to do them.

No, because humans are capable of reasoned thought. Mesopatamia, the first civilazation, had generally the same ideas of what was right and wrong. Long, long before christianity, even Jews. And we kill animals for food all the time, like the wolf. And it IS NOT a "great thing to believe in him", if you're going to sit here and tell us that we're no better than criminals, in the name of your so called "god".
