That if there was no religion in the world, there would be more peace.
Half of wars started were over religion, if religion didn't exist, neither would fighting and killing.
I'm sure you all either agree or at least, have thought of that before. -

It's not the only thing causing war... but yeah, a lot of wars are caused because of relgion. Religion sometimes does hold us back.
But I don't agree in getting rid of religion though.

I agree, I think that intolerence, misunderstanding and wanting something someone else has are also high on the list of war causes though.

i agree. but only to the point that i agree with that same theory applied to sexual orientation, skin color, or personal philosophy (deviant or not)
the fact is: as long as there is difference, and there is war, there WILL be wars fought over difference of any kind
religion is just a small part. -

Yeah, there are other things that cause wars, not just religion. If we got rid of religion, not all of the problems would be solved.

tongue NewbieI couldn't agree more. Jews and Muslims have fighting over "sacred land" in Israel for the better part of a century, and there's no end in sight. If they weren't so blinded by their religion, they'd realize how easily they could coexist.

there is always, will always, and has always been a lot of REAL reasons to fight. hatred stems from anger. anger ONLY occurs if you feel powerless. NO exepctions.
since its also a rule that there is not one person in this species that genuinely wants to make another person mad just for the hell of it, it becomes a simple game of understanding
knowin that is the key to ending a war. -
I disagree;
If people knew about other's religion, maybe they would start less wars. Like, a Muslim goes to a Christian church just to understand their point of view. They don't have to believe, just see things through the eyes of another. -
That's bull s---, religion is bull s---. It needs to go away completely.
