So what if you cant drink.
So what if you cant wear shorts.
So what if you go to church.
So what if you believe in tons of gods.
So what if you think we were made by aliens.
So what if you have more than one wife.
So what if you cant have kids.
So what if you cant eat meat.
So what if you tell stories about your god every night.
So what if you have to wear a cap on your head.
So what if you have to live in a certin area.
So what if you have to any thing acording what you belive in. We are still the same.Same body, same cravings, same in everyway.
I have a religion, yes but we do not live fully on it in my family. Indeed my godfather just married a hindu. She is really nice and great! The wedding was so great and she even makes promises unlike belif from some others. She even watched me during my first commuin. I think for one,we are all equel. -
Yeah, we're all equal. God made everyone equally so no one is more important than another person. I'm Christian, always will and always have been. I will never change or suddenly become an atheist.
To me, religion is strong. Christianity isn't just a religion, it's faith... To answer your question, religion is important in the society, probably because an amount of people believe in one religion or the other. Meh, I don't think the real answer, but religion is religion and religion is religion. x) Believe what you want to believe and stop fussing over it, that's what I say to everyone. -
I've said it before and I'll say it again. The live and let live policy is a cute one, but an unachievable one. As an atheist, I have no issue with theists until their beliefs become invasive in my life or until their viewpoints turn aggressive towards my own. If one of my theistic friends asks me to go to church, depending on the mood I'm in, I might humor them, or I might say no thank you. On the other hand, if they are avoiding someone simply on the grimace of sexual orientation, I will call them out for being narrow minded bigots. And if they try to convert me, or say that I secretly have faith, I will destroy the religion they hold dear. If I am not attacked or do not feel the need to defend something, we have no issue, and the theists I am close to understand that. That's the closest to live and let live I believe is achievable. Because no matter how hard you try and tell yourself it can be accomplished, conflicting viewpoints will always conflict as long as people are raised to follow them.
You can try all you want to save my soul, as long as I can try all I want to save your mind. -
