tori109 NoviceIt seems that there are more atheists than theists on this forum, why? It's religion and spiritual forum, and if you don't believe there is a God, why deal with people who do? Why tell them their beliefs are bogus, let them believe what they want to.(I'm not trying to be rude, or mean or anything it's just a question and I'm wondering)

It's written at the top of the forum. I may be rude, and blunt, but I never make a statement without using facts. So, I like to think I'm riding on the fine line between blatant and disrespectful. -
Because they like to inform the public on what they believe to be correct, or to clarify what they beleive to be false. Their goal? To try and "illuminate" those believers and squash their hope by showing them all that is wrong about their religion. Wrong or right is up to them, but this is the way I say it.
Honestly, I don't mind: you learn some very interesting thigns about religion in general from people who are more knowledgeable on the subject.
I just find it funny that it seems to always be Christianity that is mocked and proven wrong. What about Hinduism, Islam, Judaism? They're older and very, very interesting to learn about. I'd love to see these Atheists take shots at a religion that ISN'T the mass majority, for once. -
Muslim and Judaism are almost as large as Christianity. I don't mock them because I haven't had the opportunity. They don't dig into other people's faces as much as Christians, but I would gladly point out the falsifications in them as well.
