I believe in god now, I was agnostic but I devoted more time to religion and now I believe in him once again, we can't determine if he's real but why risk the fate? If we believe in him and worhsip, we won't lose anything if he isn't real, so ya.

That's just it, in my heart and my mind I can't deny that God exists, intellegent creation needs an intellegent creator. And I love God. Here's the thing I've grown up in a house that is Protestant Christian and my parents are always talking about God. They know a lot more than me. But sometimes I feel agnostic because it's hard to live in my life which feels void of much meaning right now. I have many unanswered questions and I want to know why evil and suffering seem to be dominating this world. I want to know why we are separated from God. And I don't understand why there had to be a turn in the first place; why did Satan want to cause this much hurt and wrong?
I guess I can be too idealistic for my own good sometimes lol -

eilloh NewbieAnastasia:The suffering all began with a tree.And Satan was the one who tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit.The suffering happens because he loves us.He gave us choices.And we choose to suffer.That is why the world stinks.Be of good cheer though,Jesus is coming back,and very soon.He comes as a thief in the night,to take the Christians away(those who believe in him and trust in him).Then he will end this messed up world and begin anew.
we are not separated from God.He is everywhere.Yes it does sound impossible doesnt it?Remember,all things are possible in God.Just trust and believe in God.
Satan in world terms,is screwed.He was kicked out of heavan,after the rapture(coming of Jesus)he will be chucked in hell.He wants to stop people in any way he can,from becoming a Christian.No matter what it takes.That is probably why you feel that way. -
Okie, but I mean what is the meaning of life? Why are we here in the first place? And where in the Bible does it talk about the rapture? I've heard of it but I don't know it very well.

eilloh NewbieSimple:the meaning of life is nothing.Think of the earth as a pitstop to either heavan or hell.you have either choice.For Christians,the meaning of life is to:trust in God,believe in God,live life to the fullest(as in morally),care for others,live a good life,tell others about God,and overall,LIVE.
The rapture,or Coming of Christ,is recited in Revelation,the last book of the New Testamant.It speaks about the Wrath of God,the world's end and the defeat of Satan.Be warned though,no one can fully understand Revelation.Only God truly knows what will happen. -
