The science behind the ionisphere is the same science behind earths north and south poles. It's the reason compasses work. Or are you going to tell me that you dont believe in compasses?
And the reason it hasnt happened since then is because there werent any other micro planets on a direct crash course with earth. Most of them found their own orbit or were consumed by the asteroid belt that isnt that far away. -

It seems there would be a relatively good chance that something out of ordinary would disrupt the galaxy and/ Earth -
something out of the ordinary did disrupt the earth. We were rammed by a microplanet whilst we were still a ball of magma.
And the ionisphere is proven because of compasses. The fact that they are magnetically attracted north shows that there is a magnetic field around the earth. -
Yes and the possiblity of an action similar to that be reproduced?
I'm just trying to get a feel for this concept. You'v e heard of the asteroid in Arizona? How was it able to break the field? Mass and momentum? -

And the possibility of something similar happening are very slim. There are no bodies of matter that large that have eliptical orbits left within Earths line of orbit. -
I akready know the principles of that general vacinaty.
So rexplain the energy conversion to matter. -
We dont have a sufficiant power source to convert energy to mass, but reversing that priciple is very easy.
To see matter to energy, just look at a campfire. The mass of the wood is converted not only to ash, but also into heat and light energy. -

Yeah, I'm in the dark on nearly everything. Again not really your rank. Though, our evolution debate was going pretty well.

I suggest you research the works of Carl Sagan. He is much better at explaining alot of this stuff than I am and his videos are where I did alot of my research from.
