yes i can believe in that.

that's only because you dont understand energy. In an infinite void of space there is an infinite amount of potential energy. And energy and mass are related. So much energy, if it is focused enough will create Matter. (science has proven this by reversing it. See Hadron Collider) So, with an infinite amount of potential energy, you will create matter. As soon as the first speck of matter is created, that potential energy will be attracted to it. That energy will take more of a physical not only through solid mass, but also form in the form of heat, light, and kinetic energy. Hince, The Big Bang.

but this debate will go nowhere b/c this is more opinion. I wish Bob was here, We were having a good devate around the subject of mutations and evolution.
-
also you could add the possibility of the earth in a "goldilocks" location.
-
what the fuk does that even mean?
-
I don't know if it's is an official term, I doubt it, but I've seen it being used in news reports.
It means not too cold not too hot, capable of containing life forms. -
And yet look at all of the dead planets that are floating out in space. Look at all of the stars up in the night sky. Imagine the idea that each one of them has its own cluster of planets orbiting it. The odds of earth being where it is isnt really all that difficult to percieve if you consider how many planets there really are.
-
Emma, I'll try to get to you later, but in simplest ters yes.
What's the ratio? -
*terms.
-
The ratio is under debate. But if you'd like to do your own research onto the subject I suggest you look up the Drake Equation.
-
okay, I'll look that up later.
Give me a rough estimate. -
In the milky way Galaxy alone there is an estimate of around 5,000 planets that are currently supporting life.
-
and yet we only have 1 moon and asteroids have been a rare problem in our plus-billion year existance.
-
We have an iron core, and therefore an ionisphere that repels asteroids like magnets. And our moon is from a collision with another body of mass in earths early years. Another micro planet collided with the earth while we were still a body of moltin slag and our moon was dibree that got caught in our orbit. It formed under the same gravitational principles that earth formed around the sun.
-
what's the science behind the ionisphere?
Yes, in the Earth's early years, why has it never happened since in its long history?
