I'll be honest, I tried not believing in God for quite a while. I tried thinking "Oh, he's just another fairytale" and whatnot. But, it just didn't feel right. I do feel safer thinking someone will always love me and thinking that I'll have a place to go to after I die. I can't imagine myself just dying and never thinking, ect. again. I know I won't find the answers I'm looking for yet... maybe I won't until I die. But that's perfectly fine with me. Somethings arent meant to be discovered because maybe we couldn't handle them being human. I'll just use science to try and find out the things I can, and the spirtual things like God, I guess I can wait a while to find out.
If that means I'll be the idiot worshipping an imaginary person the rest of my life and thinking that they'll always be there... well, fine then, he's just one of about five others :p And you can use science all you want to prove me wrong, but I'll remain faithful to God until I find enough of my own evidence to prove that wrong.
That doesn't mean I'm not interested in the theories that God isn't real though, but I'm not going to jump to the conculsion he's fake yet.
Actually, I've decided that I may want to be a scientist when I grow up. One of the scientists that works to see if God exists. And I think I could get as close to real answers then. -

Ehhh, I believe in God, for almost the same reasons, but not quite. You definately have good reasoning behind your beliefs, though.
