until about a year ago, I owned the NIV translation. Honestly, the NIV and NLT versions are pretty much exactly the same. It's just like re-wording a sentence.
You can say
Bob walked to the store.
Or you can say
Bob went over to the shop.
Those two sentences mean exactly the same thing, only they have different words in them. -

I live in Kansas, near Missouri, my name is Elisabeth. I have a 10-month-old german shepard named Milo and a black female gerbil named Ramona. She has white front paws and a white stripe down her throat. I love horses and all animals, but I live in a suburban area with a rather tiny peice of property, so there's no room for pretty much anymore animals than I already have. I live with my parents and my little brother. He's 10 and has a lavender gerbil named Rondo. My username, Nakita, is named after a wolf named Nakkita who is friends with one of my roleplay/soap characters named Xadrian Kendrix. I hate tornadoes. Tornadoes and giant thunderstorms of doom are one of the only things I dislike about Kansas. I'm on a swim team in the summer called the [insert city name here] Marlins. I am homeschooled. I hate it when people say homeschoolers are unsocialized. My favorite school subjects are zoology and biology. I am a protestant christian. I have rather ugly blonde hair and blue eyes. I used to believe winged wolves and unicorns were real.

And out of randomness, I'll probably never get married/be in any relationship. Unless I find a guy with black hair and blue eyes. Then I might think about it.
