That makes sense, but I believe He does what He does, because God wants to put us through obstacles. But, I honestly have wondered that before :|

Yeah, I've thought that too, but it isn't God's fault for these things. Satan is all evil and what causes harm in this world. God loves each and everyone and the reason we're alive I think is to make our choice because we have free will and to help and love others as best we can.

Oh, ya, and Satan. And also, part of the things that happen are our own fault, and the fact that God wants to us to chose our own path... well, that's another one of my answers for why people do things.

Yeah and plus I believe that the hardest things make us stronger. We learn lessons in life. We are all "sinners" and sin has consequences. It's not for His good that we act good, it's ours.

tongue ExperiencedPeople still believe in Satan? Satan kind of defies the logic of God. I mean, if God is really all-powerful, then nothing could match his will, right?

tongue ExperiencedGod doesn't kill people. They just die. It's science. You can try and say that God intervenes to save certain people, but how the hell does he choose who to save if he loves all of us?

theres always the argument that "the lord works in mysterious ways" "now that we are on earth we cannot see cleary as through fog, when we are in heaven we will see as through glass"
BUT
1. if "god" is all knowing, all loving and all powerful then why would he put people in hell? what purpose could it possibly serve outside of vengeance or sadistic entertainment.
2. i am a 16 year old teenage jockish punk. i certainly don't claim to be all knowing, but even i realise that there is no true "evil" its just a matter of dates and places. why can't "god" see that?
3. if god is all powerful and all knowing then it is IMPOSSIBLE to displease him. he would see past, present and future at all times, how could you? -
When people ask me that, I just say, 'It doesn't really concern me'.

Thing is, I believe that God exists. But there must be a certain scale in the world, we can't all have happiness, or all have sadness, there needs to be a mix. It's the differences that make our world. But I respect your theories, and all of them could be just as true as mine.
