Thread Topic: do you know what really bothers me,

Sins aren't real, they're just really characteristics and traits that humans hold but religious people wamt to call it that so they actually have something to accuse about in their stupid s---ty religion.
-
So here's the thing, I am a naturally sassy person so I seem sassy and rude when I talk to you guys but, those are some of my personal sins that I have to work through and so yeah, if you were to talk to a Christian that was sweet and and not bitter you guys might rethink your prejudice against us.
-
You're not religious? What are you then? you're so weird... And what is a "weak life base"?
-
You're so weird. I had to say that again. Weird.
-
Also I don't think you're rude, that's not why we have prejudice against you, it's because you don't make sense and sound like a religious nut
-
let me announce this just so you guys know, I am a Christian, thanks for the complement (being called weird is a complement for me) I will stick to my faith, and that is what Christianity is, faith. Not religion, faith.
-
Religion is a bunch of rules and principles that people made up to follow.
-
So you are religious. I'm not calling you weird because youre religious. It's the way you talk.
Normal Christians accept that not eveyone is a Christian and that not everyone believes what they believe but they don't say stuff like "the world will end soon because people don't believe in sins" -
I don't think most Christians weird at all
-
Keep in mind that some of the things I will say are based on my opinions and random theory as are the majority of things said on this thread. Also just as a thing I would like to say, a lot of peoples opinions on Christians tend to be pretty biased and then some biases are just spread immensely throughout the country causing the majority of the people to perceive Christians a certain way.
-
A majority of the country's population is Christian, so please watch your generalities. Further more, whilst I cannot speak for the rest of the world, biased is just a preference towards one thing or another. EVERYONE IS BIASED. Most of these biases are also supported in some way or another. I for one spent over half of my life as a Christian and am pretty upset that I had to go that long before anyone was honest enough to give me a factual explanation of the outside world.
I stress the world factual because everyone who I respected and looked up to had the bias of being pro-Christianity. Therefor, I followed them without questioning. It was only once I was mature enough mentally to be able to respect their opinions, but desire to inform myself that I discovered how impractical their life views truly looked.
I'm not here to debate your belief. I've been on these forums for a while, and you aren't the first religious zealot to come preaching here. Honestly it's boring.
So I'm going to be here to share my story. To ask you questions I don't think you've asked yourself, and to encourage you to actually spend a day in the eyes of other ways of thinking. Once I feel you've done that, I'll be out of your hair. -
In answer to your first question to me wendee, like bob mentioned, sin is relative. There is no suc thing as inherint value, so when you assign the values of good or evil to something, dont be mistaken, because sin is nearly always arguable.
So if i were to define sin as either something that is generally considered bad, in addition to personal issues i take with the world at large, i could tell you that it doesnt bother me when things go wrong because first, I'm a very egotistical guy, but im not naive enough to believe the world is defined by my standards. Number two, in service to my own philosophy, i train myself to not worry about it when things go wrong.
