If two people are out in the wilderness and there is a lion in the bushes, and one says there's a lion behind the other and the other hears the growl but refuses to believe that there is a lion, does that mean there is not a lion in the bushes because one person refuses b to believe there is?
Also you know there is sin in this world and if there is not what do you make of the bad? -

That doesn't really make sense - if both people heard the growl then that is proof the lion is obviously there. You can't really use that as a comparison
Well bad things that happen are just bad things. If people don't believe in sins it doesn't mean they're out doing all sorts of bad things. We still know what is kind and what is morally was wrong. -
Sin is a choice people decide to do.

This is an easy one. I do bot believe that there is no such thing as sin. So from my perspective, no one is sinning. There are some people who do morally wrong things, and there are some people who do morally right things. These two groups are not exclusive and share many of the same people.
I am happy with my life because my situation hasn't been terrible enough for me not to be. I know that situations for others are bad and when I compare them to myself I realize how much I have to enjoy in my life. This system does not require I feel bad for the good things as I have. In fact, it doesn't require I feel bad for being moral or amoral. I do feel bad when I am amoral however, because the same self awareness that let's me appreciate how lucky I am, also allows me to realize how my amoral decisions negatively effect others.
This system works just fine. It is explained through observable and explainable biological processes, and does not require a god figure to guide me. I implore you to think on this for a while. And to give an honest attempt at understanding it before responding. Thank you. -
I'm sorry but I'm just having a really difficult time figuring out how you guys don't believe that sin exists? That makes no logical sence whatsoever.

Wow really? I think its because you're so deep into your religion and always have been. This is actually a bit worrying that you can't think outside of it.

I dont mean to sound rude but, I am not religious, and I do in fact have a very high understanding of your weak life base.
It just occurred to me how much closer we are to the end of this world, your guys denial of lifes fundamentals just helped me with my own little thing. Thank you, and enjoy trying to draw me into an argument. -
Ok, here is what I am able to muster after an eight-hour work day:
Yes, there is such a thing as sin. However I do not agree with the religious version of sin, aka the Seven Deadly Sins. None of those "sins" are heinous actions in their own right, they are really just things we all feel as humans. The real sins if you ask me are those actions that cause harm to others: murder, rape, child abuse, torture, stealing, and lying. Those are the sins worth condemning people for. -
The thing I am deeply afraid of is that these goddamn Christians might possibly be right but they just come off as total oblivious dickweeds.

Seven deadly sins? What are those. We do not base anything off of these 'deadly sins'.

And I don't get why lying is bad. Lying can save a friend's feelings dor the good, stop drama, stop the school complications crap, stop drama as I said, and even save a person's life. Not all lying or exaggerating is bad and neither is being honest because seriously not everyone likes hearing the truth, for real.
