I like the whole concept since I'm a nature lover myself. But I'm not gonna join the religion because I dislike labeling myself/follow something thoroughly.
So I was wondering, what's a good source for me to start learning about witchcraft? -
In a way, yes: it is both good and bad, but it's probably not in the way that you're thinking. You can't have light without dark, and you can't have good if there is no bad. Wicca itself is usually very peaceful and loving because of the Wiccan Rede (which is basically just a poem about what you should and shouldn't do), and in it it says "an ye harm none do what ye will".
There are a lot of sources out there. You can go to a Books-a-million or a Barnes&Nobles or any other bookstore. But there really is no starting point because you are constantly learning about it, and even the most experienced Wiccans and witches are still learning new stuff about it. -
yes what apollo sayed is true...you cant have one without the other...but then again...some do tend to lean one way or the other...and there are many refrences out there...go online and look or your library...or even find a older wiccan near you...but remeber not every thing you hear is true...

Not only that, but there really is no right way to practice Wicca and how you do your rituals. And there are many different forms of Wicca like Dianic Wicca, Ecletic Wicca, and Gardnarian Wicca.
