I, uh, am trying to do spells, but I don't have the materials. Anybody know some simple, beginning witchcraft spells?
-
Hi
First I would like to say is that although I do not practice witchcraft and do not intend to do so anytime in the future, I do know quite a lot and hence I am here to give you some advice...
Witchcraft is powerful sorcery and when done incorrectly can cause harm not only to yourself but others around you as well such as spells back firing or attracting entities from...places
Is it not possible for you to find a mentor or someone with some experience in witchcraft? Then you will have a guide and they will also provide you with the things you need I am sure
You have to learn grounding, circle of protection and of course blessing the room in which you will be doing spells but all this take time to learn (unless of course you know all these already)
I do know 1 or 2 spells but have never done this. I know this from a Wican friend I used to know which reminds me if you can find Wicans then all the better because the Wicca Religion believe in nature and their own deities but can also practice sorcery for the good -
Honestly,I've been praticing witchcraft in my very home.
I do it at night, when my family is asleep.
I've cast spells,and succeeded before.
Any spells to recommend? -
You don't really need materials. Sure, candles and stuff are helpful, but you don't really need them. You can visualize it instead. Casting spells is basically just putting a certain emotion or energy out into the world. Positive thoughts and speaking from your heart do much better than getting the right tools and following a spell that someone else wrote.

DOA and Kish Thanks for giving me some tips. In a way, I understand what you meant Kish and I know the dangers (reason why I'm never doing black magic or summoning high-class creatures, if possible). And DOA, so that means I could let my emotion out to perform any spell from deep in my heart? If so, that'd make sense why the more emotion you have, the bigger the pack. Although nothing is really scientifically approved for witchcraft (yet, and there might be proof,) I'm just going to keep on practicing.

I just realized black magic is witchcraft.
I'm such a dummy -
Magic is neither black nor white its how the casters use magic that really counts :)
Witchcraft is by no means "black" and is perfectly fine to practice and yes indeed like DOA said good strong visualization can work as items are there just to increase your concentration and never have mixed emotions during a spell ;/ -
Yeah, think of magic as grey. It's neutral. It depends entirely on the person who decides to use it. And yep, just basically let that strong emotion out of your heart. If you sound and feel like you don't really want it to happen, then it won't happen. And also, you should be aware that whatever you put out into the universe, it will come back to you times three (don't know if regular people who practice witchcraft think this is true or not, but I'm a Wiccan, and I'm pretty sure all Wiccans believe in this).

Witchcraft is much more a fandom than anything. people refer to it sometimes as occult...in reality its a game. Magic generally speaking evokes in peoples minds the idea of having a greater effect on the world with less effort than the average person in your life.
A sort of progressive escapism really. Which is definitely a possibility in all religious themed beliefs. -
Witchcraft isn't a religion though. There are some atheists that practice witchcraft.
-
Its fairly religiously based. All of the practices and components having came from religious systems, its honestly not different enough to mention. although it really doesnt matter what you want to cal it.
-
No it's not. There are people in religions who also practice witchcraft, but they are separate things. Like, for example, Wicca. You don't have to practice witchcraft to be a Wiccan, and you don't have to be a Wiccan to practice witchcraft. Same goes for all the other religions. Witchcraft is a way of life, not something you do whenever you feel like it, or only on certain days like how religions are. It's every single day, doing something to help yourself grow spiritually.

Animate a mop, I believe the steps were shown in a disney movie at some point.
