Thread Topic: Christians, I have a question.
-
So, if homosexuality is wrong, and pretty much all LGBTQ members are "sinning", does that include asexuals? Is asexuality a sin?
-
Asexuality can be viewed as tuned down straightness.
-
Asexuals just aren't interested in sex so i'd say no I guess .-.
-
Asexuality also means you have no interest in dating or being in relationships. It doesn't mean that they are only uninterested in sex.
-
But an asexual person isn't necessarily straight.
AP, that's incorrect. There's a difference between aromantics and asexuals. -
Oh, yeah. Ooops. xD
-
I always read that as "aromatic."
-
XD
-
What a dumb question.
-
Dude. EXPLAIN. If you don't have an answer to the question, leave the thread. If you do, post it.
-
Oh lord...where do I begin..well for starters you asked the question excluding a LOT of demographics, and you legitimize that by saying you've already heard all other types of opinions. Wrong.
Second, this question is not a matter of personal opinion but research. Look through christian teachings such as the popes opinion and the bible and find for yourself if its technically considered a sin. If thats not what you had in mind then change it to do YOU consider it a sin.
Your also presupposing that in order to disagree with asexuality you also have to disagree with pretty much all other none straight sexualities.
All in all its poorly constructed and comes off really as a trap.
Lol someday you'll realize the world doesn't run by your rules and you wont make demands on the internet like your right xD -
She wanted to get a Christian's specific opinion, a--hole. Not all Christians have the same opinions. You need to realize that you're not as genius as you think you are.
-
Nobody's making any f---ing demands or "rules". She asked a legitimate question, you need to stop using every thread you see as an excuse to show everyone how smart you are.
-
"Look at me flinging around names of logical fallacies like that somehow makes me right!" -just about everyone in every argument ever
well considering I'm not Christian I should probably leave but it had to be said -
This a good question actually. It says in the Bible that Christians should be fruitful and multiply. So asexual people could logically be seen as sinners. But then again, these are Christians we are talking about, and vast majority of them are completely devoid of any logical reasoning.
