But, you see, that is part of her beliefs. You're only attacking her because she's the only one who will say it out loud, but there are many other Christians that believe that, and just don't say anything about it.

I'm a Christian and I'm definitely not against gays. Neither are my other Christian friends. I 100% understand Reason's impatience towards horses, I would be like that too if I didn't bite my tongue before I spoke.
Unfortunately there are a lot of homophobic Christians in the world who give the rest of us a really bad name. -

There are people with irrational fears to everything. But you don't see Carnophobes gathering to try and make meat illegal. Or Genophobes making sex illegal. No. You only see homophobes trying to make homosexuality illegal. You only see homophobes claiming that we're all wrong for not sharing their fears and gathering enough supporters to try and institute their fears on others.
Popular or not, an irrational fear is still an irrational fear. If you try and press your homophobia on us and use a religious text as your "reasoning" we are going to take offense to it.
But of course you're going to ignore all of this because I'm being "offensive". -
There is a bill in Uganda that was dead, but brought back by hardcore Christians who follow the bible oh so adamantly that basically says all practicing gays are punishable by law.
it is known as the "Kill all Gays' bill, because it means being gay is punishable by death.
See, you may not (or may, idk) condone this yourself, but by being against homosexuality you're part of the problem that causes stuff like this to happen. -

Riptide - "give us a bad name". Open your own bible. It's in there. If that gives you a bad name, so does your own bible.
Bob - she's just following her bible, and even if you don't necessarily like her beliefs, you can't hate her for believing them. The problem here is you think she's making this decision on her own to be a jerk or something - but, really, she's just going by what her bible says.
