Thread Topic: Religion, summed up
-
Cows are sacred to Hindus because of what they provide: meat and milk.
-
Actually cows are considered sacred because they are Gods to some indians somewhere somewhere
If they were considered sacred for milk and meat then why aren't goats sacred too -
Indians don't eat cows.because,it is their god.shibh's sarvent
-
Okay, I thought it had something to do with a god, but I wasn't sure so I looked it up, and it said that, so I decided to go with that. Which was wrong.
-
Nothing is wrong
-
May be it is true but mainly because it is considered a God
-
Believe it or not , not every Christian / religion you listed as otherwise does what they do purely to avoid going to hell ( which I don't believe in anyway ) a lot of my religion ( quakerism ) is based around the idea of ' love thy neighbour' rather than the 'or burn in hell ' thing . Don't generalise quite so much . Just a suggestion :)
-
Okayyyy....
The point is well yeah what Dalek said, the whole burn in hell thing. I kinda just lists the religions I know XD I mean, like I know other ones, I just don't have that much knowledge on them. -
Considering I've known daleks for, a really long time and never knew she was a quaker, except for one week after she said it.
They don't all look like their stereotypes..

Okay, describe to me "useless" animal, please enlighten me.
-
You're all missing the point DX
Every single f---ing one of you -
addressing an issue with your post does not mean missing the point.
-
Maybe if you cleared it up instead of avoiding it, everybody wouldn't be missing the piont
-
Oh Good lordy , was that support from geek , well I'm stunned . ( See you tonight :)) also for the record I agree that Buddhism is a frickin' awesome religion I just have an issue with the huge generalisation going on here to 'sum up religions ' .
