The clash of arguements on the other side of death. We haven't died yet so who's to say we just rot in the ground? What happens to our spirit? Our personality? What's the point of life if we just live and die?
-
so our lives just go black nothing happens?
-
There is no point. Okay seriously, life does nothing signifigant does it. And what we do as humans has no point at all.
-
an aterioid billions of years ago smashed onto the earth bringing bacteria whcih later on bacame early species of animals and kept evolving into wat is now humans, and we are born, give birth, and die and the cycle goes on and on and on
-
I just don't get how our spirits would just disappear. Then what is life? Why is all of this here? I haven't died yet so I can't tell you. Whoa, this is really deep for me lol

we are organisms composed of
Carbon
Hydrogen
Oxygen
Phosphorus
Potassium
Iodine
Nitrogen
Sulphur
Calcium
Iron
water

That's just not enough for me. You're thinking more scientificly while I'm thinking philosophically. We have souls, what happens to them?
-
im more of a scientifical person
-
lol I'm more of a feelings and deep thoughts kind of person.

Sapphire LOL, you must be too SCARED to answer my question. You have not answered MY question. If you died and I'm right where would you go?!!
(Anastasia, If god's love is all we ever talk about we are lying to the lost souls! God is NOT just loving, faithful, forgiving and peaceful! He is just and holy. I know that hes both at once but what if people run as fast as they can toward God? What if they actually are so desperate that Run to God because they know what their sin does? What if they cry out to God to have mercy because they know they will go somewhere they don't want to. They will want God to save them and they will be saved. Is that wrong? He loves them and wants them to be his. He will do what ever it takes to save them. Maybe that includes mentioning hell.) -
Lol! Sapphire you forgot Urea, melatonin, seratonin, epinephrine, and.....insulin I guess?

Ignore that other post, I was not in my right mind when I wrote that, (I was hallucinating at that time due to sleep deprivation), forget atheism, I think I may be a Satanist...

Kirsteen, I understand that we don't just talk about God's love but when you are trying to tell a lost soul about what we believe, using hell as a tool to scare them to believe in God just isn't right. You explain why sin isn't right, it's not that God wants to ruin our fun or control us, but that he loves us enough to say it's wrong and that it ultimately hurts us. He is holy that's why hell is complete isolation from God. When Lacey Mosley (singer of the band Flyleaf and an outspoken Christian) was young she was an athiest and was into drugs. She didn't know anything God and was on the verge of killing herself. When she went to live with her grandmother she took her to church where she was welcomed and was given help with her problems. She learned why what she did was wrong and was thankful that she was saved by God. But they didn't say to her first off that your going straight to hell. They showed kindness to her, demonstrated God's love and she soon learned why it was wrong. They didn't lie to her at all, they didn't say her sin was right. They gave her help. This is what I believe is right and that's not going to change.

If all you talk about is hell you'll push more people away than bringing them to Christ. There's a too common misconception idea in society that God hates us, but it's the complete opposite.

Considering how many religions there are to choose from, isn't it a it unfair for God to let people who choose incorrectly go to hell?
