Do you even know who Lilith is?
-
Yes, the Bible is very sexist. The Old Testament in particular was meant to act as a rule of law in a time when women were viewed as nothing more than property to men. Patriarchy came about in every culture because the first guy in who cheated on his wife and got caught figured out that he could blame the other woman for being too sexually appealing. Hence female sexuality became discouraged and even punishable, and it was decided that women would not be considered humans.
So there you go, the Bible is at least in part an enforcement of tribal, primitive rules for being. -
Leviticus.
I swear that book is evil >.> -
This is the Old Testament of the Bible rascal! These laws are not in place anymore (the ten comandments still are though) read the New Testament :)
Yea DOA I do know of it....... -

Lilith.......
-
I know. I was just confused as to why you called her an it.
-
Yep, I did because "she" never existed
-
She did though. She gave birth to the demons.

The New Testament clearly states that the Old Testament is meant to be followed by Christians. I do not know the exact verse, I probably couldn't even tell you the book, but I think it is somewhere in Matthew.

Matthew 5:17-19 RSV
Luke 16:17 NAB
2 Timothy 3:16 NAB
2 Peter 20-21 NAB
Mark 7-10 NAB
Matthew 15:4-7
Matthew 5:27
1 Peter 2:18
John 1:17
John 10:35
(I got tired of Christians claiming that it's okay to ignore the old testament. So I reread the bible AGAIN and wrote down a list of all the times in the new testament it says you cannot ignore the old testament. -
