The song "Same Love" - Thats great if that's what you believe in :) Good for you. But you wouldn't want us playing a Christian song over the radio, would you?
Atheists are trying to convert more than Christians are - and way more than thy realize.
Please don't tell us to stop trying to convert when you're doing it all the time
Unless we're like "BE A CHRISTIAN I SHALL CONVERT YOU NOW" - in that case please shut that person up XD -
I have never told someone that they should be atheist or that they'd be happier without God. I tell them to do their own damn research, think critically, and make an actually informed opinion.
That's all we ever ask of you. -

I agree with bob and Twirl. Personally I am neutral, because I believe in a bit of each religion. Well I don't know about Atheism. Off topic.
Both are trying to shove their religion down peoples throats. End of argument. -
I don't try and convert people to atheism, I just try to give my reasoning. But when it comes to religion and politics, I thoroughly believe that they should be kept separate. It's good to have a sense of morals guiding you, but only because you believe it's the word of something other worldly, then I'm not going to give a care.

You say religion should be kept out of politics - therefore we shouldn't vote against gay marriage because we're supposed to keep religion out of it.
I see your point there. But what you're not realizing is that's against OUR religion. That isn't keeping religion out of politics; that's just bringing atheism into it and pushing all others out. -
I think a lot of songs should be removed because they and just plain stupid, but you have to live with the fact that the world is changing.
People have liberties that need to be respected. I respect people for believing what you want, but you need to respect people for believing what they want to. -

Atheism is often described as a lack of religion, so it isn't a religion. Atheist ideas don't really affect you how Christian ones do

How I see it, is that it's all about choice. You choose not to have abortions and will not marry someone of the same sex, but there are some who choose to do those things. Religious people should not hold us back because they think it's immoral. We don't even believe in the whole higher being thing, so why should we have to live our lives like you do?
It's not bringing atheism into it, it's bringing clear headed though into deciding how our country should be ran. Not everyone in our country have the same thoughts as religious people, so we shouldn't have to follow a religious ruling. -
